The turn signal switch activates the wipers sometimes. And sometimes the wipers ghost and run by themselves for no reason at all. This is very distracting and it has started to scratch the windshield. VERY DANGEROUS when travelling down the interstate at 70MPH and the wipers screech across the windshield all by themselves............PLEASE HELP.

NHTSA VEHICLE SAFETY COMPLAINT Vehicle Information: - Year/Make/Model: 2024 RAM 1500 (V6 eTorque) - VIN: [XXX] - Current Mileage: ~70,000 miles - Warranty Expired: 60,000 miles - Purchased/Serviced at: Smithhaven Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram, [XXX] Complaint Summary: I am reporting multiple recurring safety-related electrical, lighting, and drivability issues involving my 2024 RAM 1500. The vehicle has experienced repeated system failures affecting safe operation despite regular dealership maintenance, recall compliance, and scheduled service. Service and Failure History: At approximately 6,017 miles (January 12, 2024), the vehicle experienced a major electrical failure involving the wireless control module and battery system causing a no-start condition until serviced. On October 4, 2024, the vehicle received an ABS recall service and system update. On November 17, 2025, the vehicle received the 60,000-mile service including tire rotation, brake flush, coolant system service, and 27-point inspection. In 2025, a turn signal sticking issue was serviced but continues intermittently, creating a safety concern. At approximately 70,000 miles, the vehicle developed severe drivability issues including bucking, jerking, hesitation, and loss of power. Check engine light and service transmission warnings appear. Vehicle requires pulling over and restarting temporarily restores function. Safety Concerns: - Sudden loss of power - Unsafe low-speed operation - Roadside stops due to drivability failure - Turn signal malfunction risk - Prior electrical failure leaving vehicle inoperable Repair History and Response: Vehicle maintained at dealership. Stellantis case opened and partial (~80%) coverage offered but issue remains unresolved. Request: Investigation into potential safety-related defects involving electrical, drivetrain, and signaling systems. [XXX] DePinto Stellantis Case #: 96506923 INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

Heater Core Windshield fogging because of antifreeze fumes interfering with the HVAC Yes the issue has been confirmed by the dealer (Sansone Ram, NJ) I wasn't sure but kept smelling antifreeze in the cabin and the front windshield was interfering with my view in front of me. This Vehicle is a 2024 Ram 1500 with approx 46000 miles, just a little out of the basic warranty but this issue is not a wear and tear issue, way to early for this vehicle to have this kind of Problem.

The driver sun visor pivot arm broke while driving in very heavy traffic, and merging lanes. This cause my view forward to be complete blocked for several seconds until I could get it back into a position to successfully fold it back to its storage position. During this time I could not see any traffic, and had to turn my attention to the sun visor so to return my view of the highway. In my opinion, this put me and other drivers at risk because of 1) the period of time to remove the visor from blocking my sight, and 2) the inability to use this safety feature when it is needed. I have a video of the sun visor and how it blocked my view, but cannot upload it. Please observe closely the plastic where the sun visor retention happens, and broke. Without a design change, this will happen again. I have owned this vehicle 21 months at the time of the incident described above.
