JEEP WAGONEER S 2025 FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING
medium1) Keyless entry/auto lock/unlock has been an issue since we leased the car, and it remains. CarPlay maps on the dashboard are not in sync with reality (even on the short ride home) often displaying the steering wheel icon and/or â0 mâ directions that make no sense with the reality of where I was driving. After a brief stop on the way home, I turned the car on and the emergency brake initiated itself, as it so often has since we leased the car. This is made even worse by the fact that they turned off a collision safety feature to fix this issue, and it did not work or last even an hour of use.Battery regeneration levels unavailableâ issues once again appear with all the dysfunction that comes along with it (this is another ongoing issue). This time the car also appeared to drive very âjumpyâ even in âautoâ mode. I noticed on the highway and on the streets. The accelerator petal appeared to be hypersensitive in a way that it was not before which feels dangerous. After another short outing. Creep Modeâ that is supposed to maintain, did not. The screen got stuck on a weird parking screen weâd never seen. Then the screen went blank. We noticed the right fog light was out.The most alarming and critical dysfunction happened after we noticed cars following too closely. We tried to understand why when we got home and discovered the brake lights only illuminate when the car has come to a full stop, not when the regenerative braking is working (aka the car is slowing down). So as the car slows down, the brake lights do not illuminate, alerting other drivers that the car is slowing or stopping, which is critically dangerous! (HAVE PHOTOS OF ABOVE) 2) Several near-collisions have already occurred due to the brake light failureâon top of the other ongoing safety issues. 3) Provided photos to them, they are unable to resolve 4) Yes. JEEP WAGONEER S 2025 LANE DEPARTURE: BLIND SPOT DETECTION
mediumMain instrument cluster failed. There was no warning. Occasionally, the main screen would boot up slow. Currently at dealership where they diagnosed the screen to not be communicating. With the screen not working, it disabled the turn signals and the blind spot monitoring, would turn the "1 pedal drive" on and off randomly, no speedometer.
JEEP WAGONEER S 2025 FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM
mediumThis vehicle has experienced three separate safety failures within only a few months of ownership. Incident 1: While driving with my children in the vehicle, the battery warning light illuminated and the vehicle immediately entered a low-power âturtle mode,â rapidly losing speed in traffic. The vehicle had to be towed to the dealership. Incident 2: While traveling approximately 60 mph, the hood latch failed and the vehicle immediately decelerated to approximately 20 mph, creating a dangerous situation in traffic. The vehicle again had to be towed. Incident 3: While pulling into my driveway, the vehicle displayed warning lights when shifted into reverse and went into transmission lock, rendering it immobile before losing power completely. In all three cases my wife and children were in the vehicle and were placed in unsafe situations. I am concerned this vehicle has serious safety defects.
JEEP WAGONEER S 2025 UNKNOWN OR OTHER
highI was driving in my sonâs school car line when the car jolted and a red turtle appeared on the screen with a stability warning as well. The car would not accelerate but would then unexpectedly accelerate on its own. I had to diligently keep my foot in the brake as well as accelerate. The car wouldnât go over 10ish mph. I held up traffic until I could get to an empty parking lot to turn off the car. Had I been on a busy interstate I could have been seriously injured and so could others. Iâve only had the suv 3 months and the service electric system continues to come on also. I took the car immediately to the dealership after the safety event and they kept it for a week. I also put in a case with Jeep/Stellantis requesting a buy back but the case manager called me Friday to tell me to go pick up my vehicle up as the dealership did a software update and my car was now safe to drive. I repeated told them I didnât feel safe driving it and I didnât want to get it back. They told me that I had to turn the loaner in and pick up my car and they would follow up with me after the weekend to discuss next steps and they would offer me monetary compensation for my inconvenience. I told them I did not money I want a buy back because I donât feel safe in my car.
JEEP WAGONEER S 2025 VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL
high10/14/25: Started car and put it in reverse, slow to reverse. Then tried to pull forward, very sluggish with a delay, then when I pushed accelerator a little more, it took off and then it wouldnât stop. I had to slam on breaks to stop. My head jerked forward and back and hit the headrest. My son was pushed forcefully into his seatbelt to stop the momentum. I turned on/ off car and then started to accelerate again thinking maybe something I did was wrong- but âfelt that the car was offâ. I tried to go forward again and the car wouldnât really move, it was very slow to accelerate and then accelerated really fast and I got scared and the breaks were not responsive. The car was very slow to stop- I had to slam on the breaks again in the parking lot. At this point, I was very shaken up and so was my child asking if the car was safe. The shifting wheel was very hot. It wasnât a sunny day and none of the other parts of the car was hot. At this point I was concerned about the electrical workings of the car and slowly drove back home which was just across Main street and across Channel. I then called Jeep and reported the problem. I also looked online to see if anyone had a similar experience and found a woman had a similar experience on 9/8/25. Road side assistance towed car to dealership. On 1/10/26 the same thing happened. Was backing out of driveway to do errands. Car slow to move when pushing accelerator pedal. Then accelerates very fast without much pressure on accelerator. Very slow to break had to slam on breaks to stop. In reverse, car started rolling forward first. Put back on charger and it seemed to reset everything and car worked normally. Afraid to I drive u less absolutely necessary due to inability to control car when it does this. Jeep contacted both times. Taken in for service first time- found nothing wrong and couldnât reproduce. Out of town shortly after second time- car sat parked. Plan to take in 1/20/26.
