MASERATI GRANTURISMO 2024 SUSPENSION
medium
The contact owns a 2024 Maserati GranTurismo. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle unexpectedly and aggressively pulled to the right while the contact was in the middle lane. There were no warning lights illuminated. While attempting to make a left turn, the contact had to abruptly depress the brake pedal to prevent the vehicle from crashing into an object. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed, and determined that the suspension had failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired; however, the failure recurred. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer on several occasions for the failure, but the failure persisted. The vehicle was later towed to the dealer, but was not diagnosed or repaired, and the dealer refused to service the vehicle. The vehicle was then taken to another dealer, who also refused to repair the vehicle. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 750.

MASERATI GRANTURISMO 2024 WHEELS
medium
I leased a 2024 Maserati GranTurismo Modena, delivered December 31, 2025. Within the first four months, the vehicle has experienced four tire blowouts during normal highway driving, without impact, collision, or rim damage I provided dashcam evidence showing that the tire failures occurred under normal road conditions. Despite this, Maserati has consistently attributed the incidents to “road hazards” and has offered no investigation or acknowledgment of a potential defect. Most concerning, no solution has been provided to prevent recurrence. Each failed tire has been replaced with the exact same specification, despite repeated failures, leaving an ongoing safety concern. I made multiple good-faith efforts to work with Maserati to identify solutions, including alternative tire configurations or safer options for Northeast driving conditions. These requests were not addressed. During a phone call, I was dismissively told by a representative (Anthony) to seek solutions myself. Maserati has refused my request for a buyback or lease termination, despite repeated failures, lack of a preventative solution, and extended loss of use. The assertion that this vehicle is “suitable for normal driving conditions” is inconsistent with its real-world performance. Four identical failures within four months under routine conditions is not consistent with normal operation and indicates a systemic issue, regardless of whether a traditional “manufacturing defect” has been identified. Equally concerning, Maserati’s only proposed guidance is to “avoid road hazards” and reduce speed. This is not a realistic or acceptable solution for operating a vehicle on public roads in the Northeast United States, where such minor imperfections are unavoidable. Advising avoidance of normal road conditions does not resolve the issue and does not ensure safety.
