LEXUS RC 2025 VISIBILITY/WIPER
mediumThe driver and front passenger side window glass in my 2025 Lexus RC 350 F Sport exhibits a severe optical distortion that impairs visibility. The glass has a persistent fog or haze appearance and a grid-like dot pattern visible in daylight. At night, the defect causes significant glare, halos, and visual distortion from headlights and streetlights, making safe driving difficult The defect was present on the original factory-installed glass when the vehicle was new. At a Lexus dealership, aftermarket window tint was removed to rule out tint-related causes. The defect remained present. The dealership then replaced the affected windows with brand-new OEM Lexus glass. The defect reappeared was also present in the replacement glass with identical characteristics. Independent glass professionals advised that the issue appears consistent with a manufacturing or lamination defect internal to the glass itself. The presence of the same defect on both the original factory glass and the OEM replacement suggests a possible supplier or batch-related manufacturing defect that may affect other vehicles of the same make and model. I reached out to Lexus on September 23,2025 about the issue and as of today January 10, 2025 the issue has not been resolved. I almost hit a mother and her child in my fitness center parking lot because the street lights shining into the drivers window had almost zero visibility. Luckily, she saw me and got out of the way because I did not see her until she screamed. This condition materially impairs driver visibility and presents a safety risk, particularly during nighttime driving and even worse when raining. The manufacturer has not yet provided a resolution. I am including images, but I also have a video that is much better to see how extensive the issue is.
LEXUS RZ 2025 UNKNOWN OR OTHER
mediumBeginning in September 2025, I experienced respiratory symptoms, including coughing, chest discomfort, and shortness of breath, that appeared to be triggered when entering or operating my vehicle. The symptoms consistently improved when I was not using the vehicle and returned upon re-exposure. The specific component responsible is UNKNOWN. I suspect a possible cabin air quality, HVAC, or material-related issue, but I am not able to identify a specific failed part. My safety was put at risk because symptoms occurred while driving, including during traffic conditions, which affected my ability to breathe comfortably and concentrate. The issue has been reproducible. The vehicle was inspected by a Lexus dealership and later by a Toyota/Lexus Field Technical Specialist. No warning lights or dashboard alerts were present. The inspection did not identify a cause, but the symptoms persisted. The vehicle remains available for inspection. This report is being submitted to document a potential vehicle safety or air quality concern for further review.
