JEEP GRAND WAGONEER 2023 ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
high
I was at a stoplight, waiting to making a U-turn. The light turned green release the brake and went to hit the gas. The entire vehicle shut off. I lost all power and had to restart the vehicle in the middle of the intersection with vehicles behind me. It took at least 30 seconds and I ended up having to wait a cycle on the light because I couldn’t go at the time. Once I got the car back on, I lost power steering and my check engine light came on. I was able to make it to parking lot. Once I got there, I parked in the parking space the vehicle did the automatic shut off to conserve energy once I parked I press the button to shut that feature off when I did it the vehicle shut off again. I lost power to everything and had to restart the engine. This has happened multiple times as I believe it’s related to the electrical system and the automatic shut off. I’ve also had multiple other issues with the vehicle in the electrical system. The most recent being that pulling out of a parking lot onto the highway my vehicle would not shift gears, and I had to pull over to the side of the road as I could not get out of first gear. It ended up being the electrical components of the transmission. At the time of the incident listed above, I had just picked up the vehicle from having this issue replaced and had it for less than six hours when this other issue happened. We bought this vehicle used with roughly 58,000 on March 17, 2026, I’ve owned it for just over two months and in those two months it’s been in the shop more than we’ve been able to drive it due to a series of electrical incidents that causes the check engine light to go on or the vehicle to shut off.

JEEP GRAND WAGONEER 2023 UNKNOWN OR OTHER
low
While driving the breaks faultered and I had to slam on the break. I had to press all the way down on the break pedal to slow down or stop. Also when stopped at a light the car turns off and puts itself in park. I had to turn the car off and back on again to fix it. My safety and the safety of others was at risk due to chance of a significant car crash due to faulty break system. I had a near miss accident due to this reason. I will be calling the car dealership to tow the car to have it inspected. The ABS light came on as well as check engine light. Service power steering light also came on.

JEEP GRAND WAGONEER 2023 SEATS
medium
The front seat has air bags in it for massage and adjustment features. These airbags expand and cant be adjusted down pushing you into the sterering making it unsafe to drive. I took my 2023 Jeep Grand Wagoneer to the dealer on 4-7-26 and the part that failed is 68608275AB. Thisa part is on national back order. The vehicle is very difficult to drive with the seat in this condition. We are still wiating for this part however we must to continue to drive this unsafe vehicle that had a price tag of $112k. I spoje with the Mfr and they had no help except to email me weekly for a parts update. There are no warning lights when this happens.

JEEP GRAND WAGONEER 2023 FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING
high
I am writing to formally document a serious and extremely concerning safety incident that occurred on Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at approximately 12:06 PM while driving my 2024 Jeep Wagoneer, which currently has approximately 58,000 miles. While driving, multiple critical warning lights and system failure messages appeared simultaneously. I have attached photos documenting the warnings that occurred during the incident. Service Power Steering • ABS warning • Red steering wheel with exclamation mark • Check Engine Light • Collision / Auto Emergency Braking warning • Traction Control / Electronic Stability Control Warning • Forward Collision Warning / Automatic Emergency Braking Disabled During this event, the vehicle behavior became unpredictable and unsafe. Considering the failure of multiple safety systems at once, this created a situation that could have easily resulted in a serious accident. I am extremely shaken by the experience and thankful that my four children were not in the vehicle with me at the time. Unfortunately, this incident is part of a long list of issues I have experienced with this vehicle since purchasing it. These include: Persistent check engine light issues • Replacement of all third-row seatbelts due to defects • Oil valve replacement (Code P06D – Oil Pump Control Stuck High) • Multiple software updates • The vehicle shifting itself into park when coming to a stop, with the gear dial locking and requiring the vehicle to be fully shut off and restarted before it can be driven again • Driver window intermittently sticking • Replacement of the passenger seat massage system due to an air bladder malfunction • Vehicle jolting/jumping when coming to a stop Given the number of ongoing mechanical and electronic problems, I no longer feel confident that this vehicle is safe to drive. I purchased this vehicle specifically for the safety and reliability.

JEEP GRAND WAGONEER 2023 SEATS
medium
- Comfort Control Module (CCM) for driver's seat and passenger seat. - Malfunction/failure of CCM caused seat lumbar/bolsters to automatically overinflate beyond maximum with no response from seat controls. - On or about 11/07/25, passenger seat back lumbar automatically overinflated beyond maximum, while passenger was seated, causing passenger to be pushed forward against seat belt. Overinflation caused seat back panel to bulge out as well. Seat would not respond to controls to deflate lumbar. Pulled vehicle over so passenger could unbuckle and seat themselves in rear seat. Immediately inspected by local dealer/service center on 11/10/25. CCM was replaced under warranty (34,453/36,000 miles) and have not experienced issue since. - On 02/17/26, driver seat back thigh bolsters automatically inflated beyond maximum while driver was seated, causing driver to shift in seat due to bolster digging into hip and thigh. Overinflation caused clip securing seat cover to cushion/frame to become detached as well. Seat would not respond to controls to deflate lumbar. Other seat controls began inflate/deflate automatically. Immediately inspected by local dealer/service center on 02/19/26 and was told module needed replacement outside of warranty (42,000/36,000 miles) to the cost of $1,573.83.
