CPSC, Polaris Industries Inc. Announce Recall of Accessory Skis for Snowmobiles
The accessory skis sold for Polaris snowmobiles could break, resulting in injury or death.
Remedy: Consumers should stop using their snowmobiles immediately if they have installed red accessory skis and bring the skis or snowmobile to their Polaris dealer for replacement.
Sold at: Polaris dealerships worldwide, from November 2001 through December 15, 2003, for between $78 and $125 per ski.
