The Integrated Charging Control Unit (ICCU) failed on my 2025 Hyundai Tucson PHEV at approximately 6,600 miles. The failure manifested through multiple concurrent symptoms. First, the vehicle displayed a "car not charging" warning light and completely refused to accept an electrical charge when plugged into a charger. Simultaneously, the Check Engine Light illuminated on the dashboard. While driving, the vehicle experienced a sudden and unsafe loss of propulsion power when attempting to drive uphill. This sudden drop in power created a hazardous driving condition in traffic. The vehicle was taken to an authorized Hyundai dealership, where technicians ran diagnostics and officially confirmed that the ICCU had failed and required a complete replacement.

Advanced Driver Assistance System not listed:  "Forward Attention Warning" I recently purchased the 2025 Hyundai Tucson PHEV Limited and on a road trip the next few days later I tried to activate the cruise control when all of a sudden a few seconds later it gave a warning and shut off.  I tried again and it did the same thing.  I had to pull over, check the setup menu and even though this is a process to deactivate the system it DOES stay active.  After researching this online and looking up the Hyundai Manual, when you activate cruise control it automatically activates lane assist which automatically activates the Forward Attention Warning which, at that point, deactivates the cruise IF you are either wearing sunglasses or blocking the view of your face from the steering column camera using say your arm.  The "assistance" does not allow you to drive with your arm at the top of the steering wheel, I was getting tired using both arms on each side and had to give one of my arms a rest only to realize this was an issue and couldn't.  Add to this that it was sunny and could not use sunglasses as the camera couldn't see my eyes.  I researched this online and there's several recent videos and Reddit messages across various platforms that this is a major issue for people and a serious risk for some as they can not use sunglasses on sunny days and the fact it automatically deactivates after a while.  All it would take is to actually have this fully deactivated where it's listed in the Driver Assistance section.

HYUNDAI TUCSON PLUG-IN HYBRID 2025 VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL

We are writing to describe an issue we had with our 2025 Hyundai Tucson PHEV this past [XXX] day  We were returning from Bellingham heading south on [XXX].  The Driver Assistance Eyes on the Road notice came on often, making beeps ([XXX] has experienced this message often even though his eyes are definitely on the road).  Suddenly, it came on constantly, and then the alert in the center circle on the console turned RED and showed a message that said âTake control of your vehicle immediately.  Turning engine off.  Leave the roadâ  I may not have this quote exactly right, but itâs close.  All the time the loud beeping continued.  [XXX] did as directed and immediately pulled over unto to the narrow shoulder on the freeway with cars racing past at 70 mph.  We had no idea what was going on.  He quickly determined that the car was functioning ok so pulled back out onto the highway.  I was panicked, but of course [XXX] was calm and in control.  He decided to take off his hat and also his glasses (doesnât need them for driving).  Still got the message but not the red alert one we had previously experienced.  We stopped for gas before continuing on to the ferry and took the time off the road to access the Driver Attention function in Settings/Vehicle/Driver Assistance/Driver Attention Warning and turned it OFF.  We thought that would take care of it, but it still continued to send standard alerts.    Since we had waiting time in the ferry line, we searched the internet for clues to this and learned from others that this is a continuing problem.  It was determined by one contributor that it is a software issue that Hyundai needs to fix.  Another person said it happens when he is driving with both lane assist and cruise control on at same time.  PLEASE ADVISE.  Is there a solution to this problem?  We were put in what we considered to be a  dangerous position by an overactive "safety"  feature which we could not disable.
