Exiting freeway and decelerating from 65mph speed to come to a stop, the exit veers the to left and slightly uphill. At around the speed of 35 mph the car brake began to actually give resistance and I could feel it actually start applying pressure back onto my foot as if deliberately trying to accelerate. Was unable to get brake to go push down even with applying more force than usual. Very high risk situation with stationary cars and an intersection nearing. Picked up my foot a slammed my brake as hard as possible. The break did finally push through with great force, however mechanical noises from the engine also occurred while breaking hard (honestly thought my transmission was falling out based on the noise) . I almost collided with the car in front of me due to my delayed stop and was at risk of being rear ended due to having a car also immediately behind me that did not appear to anticipate my abrupt stop. I was so shaken by the incident I called my partner immediately because I felt the vehicle was unsafe to drive. I have called the dealership and reported the incident. They asked to bring my car in for evaluation and let me know there is a recall they will assess for. There first available appointment is in 3 days and they are unwilling to provide a loaner car, which is terrifying considering how dangerous the situation is. They didnât care about this concern
